Your Mission

In this position, you will work in one Global Security team to help bring Kloeckner to the next level while keeping them secure. The mission of the Cyber Security Engineer is to work with team members and security experts from all over the world and build one robust security framework for Kloeckner. This is a chance to take the best practices and bring them to life on a global scale.

Your Role

Collaborate with business units and risk teams to identify and define security requirements through risk assessments and business impact analyses.
Develop, maintain, and regularly test a global disaster recovery and information security strategy.
Design and implement solutions to meet security requirements and mitigate identified risks.
Partner with IT leadership and business stakeholders to define metrics and reporting that demonstrate the progress and effectiveness of security initiatives.
Use SIEM and advanced detection tools to identify, investigate, and prevent malicious activity within the network.
Lead and support a comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program focused on the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information assets.
Conduct technical security assessments for third-party services, including software, hosting, consulting, and outsourcing engagements.
Define standards and best practices for managing supplier-sourced software and third-party access.
Collaborate with the Global Security Team to promote security services and awareness across the organization.
Identify and prioritize remediation strategies for vulnerabilities and security gaps.
Recommend and roadmap improvements to enhance global security capabilities.

Your Profile and Qualifications

Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant Cyber Security experience.
Strong understanding of security architecture, network security, and risk management frameworks.
Experience with SIEM tools, vulnerability management, and disaster recovery planning.
Hands-on experience with third-party risk assessments and vendor security reviews.
A proactive mindset with the ability to communicate complex topics to non-technical stakeholders.
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar are a plus.
Strong experience with cloud computing (AWS/AZURE) products and security controls is nice to have.
Very good verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of German is an advantage.
